A multi-fandom and original role playing game that has extensive action, drama, character development, and quality writing.
There will be plenty of time for side plots and character plots, but there will, also, be game-wide plots that your character can get involved in.
Each character has a personal journal that they can write in and other people can see, unless they specify them as being private to only themselves or a specific person. Yes, other characters can comment on the entries so be sure to friend everyone. Basically, when a character is awakened (as an angel, demon, or supernatural human) or when they come through the rift, within the week a journal of some kind (typewriter, leather bound notebook, up to you) appears by their bedside. They can write in it and choose to read other entries, because all of these magic-notebooks are connected.
It takes place in Chicago in a world that is nearly exactly like Earth, except that it is parallel to a magical world filled with fantasy creatures and led by fairies, called the Spiritual World. What happens in one world has incredible impact on the world it is parallel to. It's the fairy civil war that caused the rift to open beneath Chicago, and it continues to grow and expand everyday.
The important thing to remember is that the rift does not connect to the Spiritual World. The reason this roleplay can be multi-fandom is any character from a book, movie, television series, etc. can walk directly into this world through the rift. However, there is no going back. Walking back through the rift results in death, one's body cannot survive a second time through the rift.
People who come through the rift are referred to as wanderers. The rift changes everyone who goes through it. Whether this takes power away, changes their genetic makeup, gives them power, or turns them into a human touched by the supernatural is up to you, but it has to do something, and if you're playing a fandom character, they must have gone through the rift at some point.
Wanderers cannot become an angel or a demon, because of the rift. Nearly anything is possible, except for that.
